It’s no secret that I stumbled upon Young Living’s Thieves essential oils while looking for an all-natural, non-toxic cleaning product. Now, Thieves essential oils are a mainstay in my home, just as they should be in yours. To help you get started, here are a few of my favorite ways to use Thieves at home. Doing the same will allow you to live a life free of harmful toxins.
Thieves in the Kitchen
Thieves has several products that I always have in the kitchen, such as the Fruit & Veggie Soak. It is perfect for washing produce and ensuring my family is eating only the cleanest fruits and vegetables. After meals, I always wipe down the counters with Thieves Wipes. Not only do I appreciate the fact they are a healthy and safe alternative to most cleaning wipes, but I also love their cinnamon scent. (I also use them in the bathroom and to wipe off cart handles when I head to the store.) Of course, Thieves Dish Soap, with its fresh, citrusy smell and Thieves Automatic Dishwasher Powder are my top choices for cleaning up even the dirtiest dishes.
Thieves in the Bathroom
Who knew there were so many ways to use Thieves essential oils in the bathroom? I’m a fan of the lightly scented Cleaning Soap, which leaves everyone’s skin smooth and refreshed. I start and end every day using Dentarome Plus Toothpaste with its invigorating peppermint and wintergreen flavor. It shouldn’t come as a huge surprise that I also love Thieves Dental Floss and Thieves Fresh Essence Mouthwash, which always leaves you with a pleasant taste and fresh breath.
Thieves in the Laundry Room
Thieves Laundry Soap has been the perfect addition to my laundry room, which is why I encourage you to use it in your own home. It’s made up of natural enzymes and essential oils that leave your clothes amazingly clean with a light citrus scent that every member of the family is sure to love.
A bottle of Thieves Foaming Hand Soap sits right next to every sink in my house. Once again, the exotic smell of the essential oils leaves your hands smelling great, without being overpowering. (In this case, the blend includes cinnamon bark, eucalyptus, rosemary, clove, and lemon.) Best of all, it doesn’t matter how many times a day you wash your hands; they never feel dry.
By the way, Thieves Waterless Hand Sanitizer is a must have in my bag. You never know what the day has in store and this hand sanitizer, with a unique spicy sweet scent, makes certain your hands are clean. Plus, it won’t aggravate and dry out your skin like so many alcohol-based sanitizers.
You can also buy Thieves Essential Oil in its own bottle, giving you several more ways to use it in your home. I will combine a few drops in a spray bottle with water and use it to clean the windows. Several drops in a bucket of hot water is perfect for mopping the floors. I’ve also combined a few drops with a cup of baking soda and sprinkle it on the carpet before vacuuming. When you’re done, the carpet has a fresh, clean smell. I will often diffuse it throughout the house because I love the way it smells. There really is no shortage of ways to use Thieves essential oils in your home. I’m interested in hearing some of your ideas. Reach out to me and we can chat!
